Carlie Rae Morel Raley

On November 29, 2017, Carlie Rae Morel Raley peacefully departed this life to join her loving husband and soul mate of 52 years, E.J. Raley Jr. in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven. She was 73 years of age. A most loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was completely devoted to her family; that love only surpassed by her love of God.

She will be forever cherished and remembered by her dedicated children, Debbie Prendergast, (husband Brian) and E.J. Raley III, (wife Jan); sister, Cathy Morel Navo, (husband Mike); grandchildren, Erica Jones, Josh Raley, Travis Prendergast, (wife Rebecca) and Kathleen Prendergast; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Raley, Remington Raley and Cason Jones; her loving friend, Maria Almendares and many other loving friends and relatives.

Along with her beloved husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Anna Mae Kohler Morel and Martin Morel Jr.; brothers, Martin Morel III, Arnold Morel; grandson, E.J. Raley IV and great-grandson, Raley Jones.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice Compassus, Woldenberg and Tranquil Living of Marrero for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
