Carl Thomas Chartier passed away on September 4, 2018 at the age of 78 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette Hamman; parents, Theodore M. and Alva Buras Chartier; brothers and sister, Thomas, Adam (Shirley), Jerry (Tuts), Eve (Eric) and Joe.
Survivors include his brother, Allen Chartier along with eight children and their spouses; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish and retired from Getty Oil and Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9am 11am. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery in Buras.
