Camille Joseph Xavier Bavaret passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of Agatha "Margie" Rodrigue Bavaret for 70 years. Father of Kenneth Joseph Bavaret (Cheryl), Yvonne Bavaret Barthelemy (John), Gary Gerard Bavaret (Cynthia) and Darryl James Bavaret (Mary). Son of the late Bernadette Falcon Bavaret and Paul Bavaret. Step-son of the late Gabriel Naquin. Brother of the late Louis Bavaret. Grandfather of Kenneth Joseph Bavaret, Jr. (Sharon), Scott Anthony Bavaret, Derrick Bernard Bavaret (Tammy), Ryan Barthelemy, Shana Taravella (Brandon), Mandy Lynn Herrera (Alonso), Elora Marie Edward (Jeremy), Gary Gerard Bavaret Jr. (Heather), and Kyle Bavaret. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was an Army WWII Veteran having served his country honorably in the European campaign. He was a quiet, gentle, loving person who will be dearly missed. He was a native of Woodside, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 11am until 1pm.
