Brookelyn Micaela Barber

Brookelyn Micaela Barber passed away on April 22, 2018 at the age of 14 years. Beloved daughter of Andrea Deemer Butler and Wayne Barber. Step-daughter of Daniel Butler. Sister of Celeste Carbo, Jeffrey Barber, Chris Barber and Felicia Barber. Step-sister of Paige Butler. Sister-in-law of Stephen Carbo, Tasha Tyler and Brittany Barber. Aunt of Jaden Harper, Connor Carbo, Rylan Barber, Remy Barber, Hunter Butler, Savannah Barber, Micah Butler and Cambree Carbo. Granddaughter of Andrea “Sue” Lognion, Lance Deemer, Ida Mae Barber, Sharon North, Leland North, Debi Deemer and the late William “Dub” Barber. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brookelyn, an aspiring photo journalist, was a student at Belle Chasse Middle School and was active in the band. She had passion for music and a love for all animals, never passing up an opportunity to connect with everything from cats and dogs to exotic reptiles and farm animals. She had a huge loving, giving heart, was incredibly selfless and strove to make others happy. She cared deeply about her friends and family and will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11 AM. Visitation will take place on Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Saturday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
