Brittney Michelle Hymel

Brittney Michelle Hymel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 24. She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Blake Ledger, Sr.; her grandparents, Antionette Danos, Harrington Matherne and Warren B. Hymel. She is the beloved mother of Braelyn Ledger and Blake Ledger, Jr. She is the loving daughter of Jeanie Matherne (Leroy Dufrense) and Albert Hymel. She is the cherished sister of Shane Hymel, Angelle Hymel Dixon,Albert Simone Hymel, and Joel Matherne. She is the loving granddaughter of Carmen Guidroz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends. A life-long resident of Marrero, Brittney was a loving mother to her beautiful children that she helped bring into the world. She was very kind-hearted, and she will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile and her loving ways. Brittney will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM with a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA.
