Blaine David Falcone

Blaine David Falcone passed away on February 13, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60. Beloved husband of the love of his life, Laura J. Falcone. Father of Eric David Falcone and Adrian Nicole Carpenter. Brother of Bambi L. Dixey and Kenneth M. Dixey. BGramps to Tristan Cruzan and Grayden Carpenter. He is also survived by his lifelong friend, Robyn Glancey Edwards and loving family / special friends, Donna Marshall and Patricia Dean along with other loving family members and friends. He will be missed by his feline friend, Mikey and his canine companions, Harley and Davidson.

Blaine was born and raised on the Westbank and lived in Chalmette, LA. He was a skilled glazier, being taught by his family, working in the glass business for all of his life. Blaine had a true love of the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid backyard chef, enjoying bar-b-queing or smoking his favorite cuts of meat and of course, boiling seafood, winning crawfish boil competitions. Blaine was never without a smile or a joke. His sense of humor was his calling card, something no one would forget. He will be sadly missed.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at Algiers United Methodist Church, 637 Opelousas Street in Algiers on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 3pm.
