Billy B. Morrow

Billy B. Morrow passed away peacefully on August 28, 2019 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of 40 years to Linda Hornbeck Morrow. Father of Holly Larson and her husband William and Bryan Morrow and his wife Amy. Grandfather of Scottie Abate, Nicholas Abate and Anthony “Ant” Morrow. Brother of the late June Ray Womack and Henry Ronald Morrow. Son of the late Henry Ray Morrow and Jewell Earlene Pendarvis Morrow. Also survived by his nieces, Rhonda Morrow, Toya Dodson, nephew Ray Morrow along with other loving relatives and friends.

Billy was born in Olla, LA and was a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. He worked as an engineer for McDermott, Inc. and later with I.M.T.T. for over 25 years. He was a devout man of God and was active in Ames Boulevard Baptist Church along with Men’s Prayer Breakfast, Grandparents for God and taught Sunday School. He was an avid Saints and L.S.U. football fan and never missed a chance to cheer on his team. Billy was a true patriot who loved his God, his Country and his family and while his passing is sorrowful, his life and legacy will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Ames Boulevard Baptist Church, 3233 Ames Boulevard in Marrero, LA on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 9am to 10am. Services will follow.

His remains will be transferred to his hometown for graveside services at New Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Tullos, LA on Saturday, August 31, 2019 for 11am.
