Bill "Bud" A. Pereira, Jr.

Bill “Bud” A. Pereira, Jr., born February 21, 1970 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 51. Son of Bill A. Pereira, Sr. and Judith Pereira. Loving father of Nicholas A. Pereira. Brother of Irvin J. Pereira and Mae P. Arias. Uncle of Jonathan Eden, Paul Jones and Christian Morse. Bill was brought into this world with a heart condition. The doctors described his condition as an “upstairs downstairs” heart. At 6 weeks old, Bud underwent open heart surgery and at that time, we were told he only had 2 years to live. To everyone’s surprise, he lived for 51 years!! In the 51 years, Bud went on countless adventures and did anything you can imagine. He lived his life to the fullest, with his family and friends. He was a lover, jokester and fighter. Bud fought to the very end and thanked his God for his life. Bud was born in Marrero, Louisiana and was a resident of Jefferson Parish. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
