Beverly Garcia Scales passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert P. Scales, Sr. Mother of Gilbert P. Scales, Jr. (Joy), Kevin R. Scales (Jane), and the late Brian Scales. Daughter of the late Clara and Thomas Garcia. Sister of Tommy Garcia, Merlin Strickland, and the late Carolyn Wolfram. Grandmother of Jennifer Starrett (Bill), Shannon Sanchez, Kevin R. Scales, Jr. (Carrie), and Jason Scales (Erin). Great grandmother of Justin Starrett, Tyler Pereira, Blaine J. Rocha, Sydney Scales, Jenna Starrett, Ashton Clark, Molly Scales, Jillian Scales, Megan, Madison and Riley Sanchez. She worked at Stumpf’s Drugstore, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and avid Saints Fan. She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA., on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 11am until 1pm. Thanks to Passages Hospice for their loving care.
