Devoted wife of the late Chelton (Charles) Perque. A loving mother of Jennifer Perque Davis (late Craig) and Brady J. Perque, Sr. (Deborah). A proud grandmother of Craig S. Davis, Jr. (Lori), Dana Davis Scardino (Mark), Brady J. Perque, Jr. (Denna), Cay Perque Waldron (James), and Elizabeth Cambre. Loving great grandmother of Craig S. Davis, III (Macy), Courtney P. Thibodeaux (Cameron), Brady J. Perque, III (Abby), Brooke and Karli Perque, Dawson and Mason Scardino, Priscilla and Braydon Waldron, Isabella and David Weigman, Christopher, Holden, and Makenzie Karge. Great-great Grandmother of Cameron Jr. and Grayson Thibodeaux. Daughter of the late Richard and Edith Legendre of Chackbay, LA. Preceded in death by her brothers Roland Legendre, Sr. (Sylvia) and Horace Legendre (Marie).
Born in Chackbay, LA, longtime resident of Marrero, LA and parishioner of St. Joseph The Worker Church, Marrero, LA. Bessie and Charles were owners of Westbank Boat Supply, Inc.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11am. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9am until 11am. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery at 529 Hwy. 20, Chackbay, LA.
