Bernadette Nuzzo Lawson

Bernadette Nuzzo Lawson passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late William A. Lawson. Mother of Sandra Major. Mother-in-law of Raphael Orgeron Jr. and Eric Major. Grandmother of Brendan Major and his wife, Jade. Great-grandmother of Riley and Ava. Sister of Roseanne New and the late Vincent Nuzzo, Sr. Daughter of the late Walter and Celina Volpi Nuzzo. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was a lifelong resident of Westwego and Avondale and spent many years working with her beloved Bill in his mechanic’s shop. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 3pm to 6pm. Services will follow.
