Barbara Anderson Gauthreaux

Barbara Anderson Gautreaux, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021. Loving mother of Donna Shoopman Hebert (Steven) and proud grandmother of Jessica and Jordan Evans. A native of Baton Rouge, born on October 6, 1940, Barbara was the daughter of the late John J. Anderson and the late Gladys Langlois. She was the half-sister of Norma Wiltz, Pat Braud, the late Linda Thomassee, and the late Kathy Manuel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Barbara loved to travel all over the world. Her lifelong goal was to be a great mother and grandmother and truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend by all who knew her. Mothe Funeral Home is handling all services for the family during this time.
