Arturo V. Yap

Arturo V. Yap was called home to the Lord on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Milagros E. Yap for 44 years. Father of Goeffrey E. Yap (wife, Kimberly), and Alex-Dominic Yap (fiancé, Amthyst). Son of the late Purita and Alejandro Yap. Brother of Belinda Urcia, Conrad Yap and Dorothy Chriswell. Grandfather of Kayla, Gian, Kalissa, Kenzie, Gavin, and Ambreen Yap. Nephew of Benito Yap and Carmen Magcalas. He retired from the United States Navy as a Senior Chief after 24 years of service. He was a member and Past Master of Sts. John #153 and a lifelong resident of Belle Chasse, LA. He will be remembered as being a loving husband, father, grandfather and great friend to all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 12 noon. Visitation will be held at the church from 11am until 12 noon. All those attending must wear masks. Interment, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA.
