Armand Jean Alleman, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the age of 89. He was born on Wednesday, January 4, 1928 in Pierre Part, LA to Enola Friloux Alleman and Armand Jean Alleman, Sr. He was a loving, devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle soul who was always helping others in need. He enjoyed telling a good joke, dancing, listening to his music and watching the Tigers. He was also a Life Member of the Marrero-Harvey Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from Johns-Manville. He is survived by his beloved wife Ethel Theriot Alleman for 68 years and his four children- Gary (Sharon), Wayne (Debra), Dwight (Rhonda) and Amelia (Barry); nine grandchildren- Ryan, Brandi, Megan, Lauren, Rachel, Jordan, Mia, Anna-Lisa, and Miranda; seven great-grandchildren – Peyton, Timmy, Kayla, Kingsley, Greta, Harper and Corbin. Also survived by brother Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Walter, Louis, Phillip, his sister Edith and step brothers Sterling and Eddie, and grandson Austin.
