Anne Ciaccio Valence

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Anne Ciaccio Valence passed into the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded in love on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of 63.

Anne was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Nicholas Joseph Ciaccio, Jr. and Mary Anne Verret Ciaccio on July 26, 1958. She went to Archbishop Blenk High School and devoted herself to her husband of 38 years and to raising their two children.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband: Juan Michael Valence Sr., and her mother: Mary Ann Verret Ciaccio.

She is survived by her daughter: Jennifer Valence Waguespack (husband Kenneth Michael Waguespack, Jr.), her son: Juan Michael Valence Jr., her grandchildren: Cody Michael Valence, Hailey Madelyn Waguespack, Evan Michael Waguespack, and Cameron Luke Waguespack, her father: Nicholas Joseph Ciaccio, Jr., her sisters: Ellen Ciaccio Barcelona, Catherine Ciaccio Mefferd, Mary Ciaccio Domangue, and Regina Ciaccio, her brother: Nicholas Joseph Ciaccio, III, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was a strong woman of faith and enjoyed attending Church of the King, participating in her prayer group, and helping to serve others. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. She gave freely of herself, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She looked forward to family time on Sunday going to church and having meals together. She loved traveling with her family, and spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren. She loved the people in her life with her whole heart and would do anything for anyone. She was dedicated caregiver for her father, and loving sister to her siblings. She enjoyed gardening and took pride in her green thumb. Her garden was stunning and admirable. She was the most kind and sweetest of souls, beautiful both inside and out. Her smile would light up any room and her laugher was contagious. She will forever be loved and will always be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
