AnnaFaye Elizabeth Gartoucies Franicevich passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 78. She was a lifelong resident of Buras, Louisiana.
AnnaFaye, born June 3, 1943, had a generous spirit, freely giving everything she could to help friends and family. Her iconic meal was shrimp stew, and her sweet potato pies were often enjoyed on holidays. AnnaFaye also loved being outdoors. Everyday she would sit on her porch with ice cream and her favorite pups, Sheila and Ginger.
AnnaFaye is survived by her daughter, AnnaMarie Rousse and husband, David; her son, Mark Franicevich; her grandchildren, Joshua Rousse and wife, Carley; Sarah Langlinais and husband, Luke; and Aaron Franicevich; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jackson Rousse; Claire, Camille, Clay, and Cora Langlinais; and her sisters, Willie Mae St. Ann and Diane Peoples.
A graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, 8968 LA Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
