Ann Zeller White

Ann Zeller White passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Beloved wife of George White for 49 years. Mother of Mary Plaisance (Keith) and Stephen White (Angela). Grandmother of Julia and Kathryn White, and Cortney P. Donewar (Brandon). Great-grandmother of Brody Donewar. Daughter of the late William Zeller and Florence Pollet Zeller. Sister of the late Elliott Zeller, Alice Thomassie, Gilbert Zeller, Pollet Zeller, Ferrell Zeller, Gerald Zeller, Marie Dempsey, and infant brother William Zeller. Age 83 years, a native of Lutcher, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Most of her career was in service of St. Rosalie Catholic Church and School in Harvey, LA. She served God through her passionate work in the parish and was a participant or leader of many organizations, including fair chairperson, PTO president, Ladies’ Altar Society, Pastoral Council, weekly Mass commentator, and a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Her dedication was formally recognized in 1988 when she received the St. Louis Medallion, given to laity to honor their Christ-like service to the Church. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 600 2nd St., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at (1:00 p.m.). Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited for visitation beginning at 10 a.m until Mass time. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
