Andrew J. "Andy" Mcmenamin, Jr.

Andrew J. “Andy” McMenamin, Jr. passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Kathleen “Kathy” Hebert McMenamin. Father of Loren Anderson (Damon) and Aimee McMenamin. Grandfather of Victoria Antonion (Michael), Benjamin Anderson, Seth Reed, Brycen Dominick and Brayden McMenamin. Great-grandfather of Jason and Delilah Antonion. Son of Rosemary Lataxes McMenamin and the late Andrew J. McMenamin, Sr. Brother of Melanie Dicharry (Christopher), Rosemary McMenamin Estes (Vernon), Ann Johnson (Samuel) and John McMenamin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Andy was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. He attended Holy Cross High School and graduated from West Jefferson High School. He worked in sales prior to joining the City of Gretna in 2006, where he was Superintendent of Public Utilities. In his off time, Andy loved spending time outside grilling and especially boiling seafood. He never missed a chance to get his family and friends together.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
