Alta Allyne "Ali" Dickinson

Alta Allyne “Ali” Dickinson, age 21, transcended into Heaven on Friday, May 5, 2017 with Jesus Christ and our own mighty God. Ali was born on May 9, 1995 and resided in Marrero, LA. She died of a heart attack and fought a courageous battle with mental illness and heroin addiction. Ali excelled academically, graduating from high school as an honor student with 5 AP courses in her curriculum.
Survivors include her beloved mother, Alta “Penny” Dickinson; her sister, Haley Rodrigue; Godfather, Stanley Chotin Jr.; her aunts and uncles, Diamon Howell (Jim), Deborah Guidry (Jean), Pamela Dickinson (Jack), Richard Dickinson, Robert Dickinson (Maria), Christopher Walker (Cathy) and cousins, Carly, Carson and Alexandra.
She joins in Heaven her grandparents, Francis H. Dickinson and Edna Allyne Carlisle Dickinson. We will never forget her for she lives in us and had also touched so many lives.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a short visitation followed by a Memorial Service which will begin at 11AM at Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Family would like to extend a sincere appreciation and special thank you not only to Gretna United Methodist Church but also to GUMP Preschool.
