Alphonse "Mike" Joseph Demots Jr.

Alphonse “Mike” Joseph Demots, Jr. passed away September 14, 2021. Beloved husband of Teresinha Dos Santos Demots. Father of Michael Demots, Michelle Demots (Kim), Joelle Onderka (Christian), Rodolfo Delima (Kulisara), Bruna Delima-Mujica (Wilman), Carla Delima (Magnus), and Paula Delima (Matheus). Grandfather of Kory, Gabriella, Karina, Lucas, Bruno, and Benicio. Son of the late Maxine Devlin Demots and Alphonse Joseph Demots, Sr. Brother of Alan Demots (Cathy) and the late Lynn Muller (Wayne). Uncle of Jeanette Faria, Matthew Monnerjahn, and Bradley Demots. Age 74 years, a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Michigan, retired to Brazil, but wanted to return home to New Orleans in his final years. He loved his hometown of New Orleans and was a very hard worker. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Saints. He loved to joke with and spend quality time with his family. He will be deeply missed.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 5 PM.
