Allen Joseph Arcement passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 59 years to Patsy Vicknair Arcement, who preceded him in death. Father to Wendy Arcement Mouton (Glynn) and Amy Arcement McMahon (John). Grandfather to Macy Mouton Fluharty (Nicholas), John M. McMahon Jr., Robert A. McMahon, and Meghan E. McMahon. Son of the late Lester Charles Arcement and Ovilia Falterman Arcement. Brother of Charles Arcement (Nina). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Allen (who was affectionately known as Chopper) worked as a welder and pipefitter most of his life but was a jack of all trades. He was a hard worker and a wonderful provider for his family. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the owners and staff of Fidelis Janice House for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 30th, 2022, at 1 pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero La, 70072. The visitation will begin at 11 am. Interment will be private.
