Alida Boudousquie Davison Rodriguez passed away peacefully on September 28, 2020 at the age of 88 years.
She was born on August 16, 1932 in Mobile, Alabama, graduated from Bishop Toolen High School and in 1954, married Herbert C. Davison. During the late 1980’s, Alida went to work for Aviall, an aerospace and defense research company located in Dallas, Texas. In 1991, she married Alfred Manuel Rodriguez and lived on the Westbank until her passing. She was proud to say that her great-grandparents were impresario Charles Boudousquie and Julia Calvet of the French Opera.
In addition to her former husband, Herbert, she is survived by children, Deborah Anne Davison, Paul Charles Davison, and Mary Margaret Davison; grandchildren, Justin Tyler Kobs, and Madeline Lee Kobs; siblings, Anne Harell, Edward Boudousquie and Margaret Jacobson.
She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Wayne Davison; husband, Alfred Rodriguez; parents, Professor Louis J. Boudousquie, M.Ed. and Mary White Boudousquie along with other loving family members and friends.
In accordance with her wishes, her remains will be cremated and interred in the Catholic Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
