Alice Buquet Lopez

Alice Buquet Lopez, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 89. A long-time resident of Gretna, LA, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Haywood “Bunny” J. Lopez; her parents, Enest and Emily Buquet; and her siblings, Henry Buquet and Malvin Buquet Orgeron. She is the devoted and loving mother of Juanita Lopez Tyskiewicz (Dennis). She is the loving grandmother of 2 grandchildren, Mark Tyskiewicz and Jason Tyskiewicz and 3 great grandchildren. She is the dear sister of Delphine Woolsey, Gilbert Buquet (Joy Ann), and Gibson Buquet (Jane). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Private Family Interment Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to any charity and food bank of choice.
