Albert Sidney Enos entered into God’s Kingdom on January 15, 2022. He was born to James Daniel Enos and Mary Grace Ditta Enos on August 8, 1944, in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from East Jefferson High School and Southeastern Louisiana University where he was a proud member of the inaugural rugby team. After graduating, he started his own business, A A Repair Service.
While he went by many names (Dad, PawPaw Al, Animal, Old Man), most everyone knew him affectionately as Big Al. Big was an apt word to describe him. He led a big life, he had a big laugh, and he was a big man (literally and figuratively). However, most of all, he had a big, generous heart.
Big Al was happiest at his “Camp” fishing off the dock with his family and friends. He loved hunting with his sons and sharing his love of nature and conservation with as many people as possible. He was a faithful member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church where he enjoyed supervising the grass being cut, amongst other things. Supervising others working was one of his favorite pastimes. The only thing he loved more was having someone to talk at.
Albert joins his parents and sister, Mary Grace Lambert, in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including his wife, Sara “Sally” Enos; his children, James Enos (Cindy), Debbie Enos Havnen (Jeremy, Sr.), Katherine Enos Townsend (Adrian), and John Enos (Tanya); his seven beloved grandchildren, Jeremy Havnen, Jr., Julie Enos, Anna Havnen, Matthew Enos, Finn Townsend, Teagan Townsend, Gabby Enos; his cousin, Billy Enos; his good friends, Jeff Wichers and Billy Hodas; and a host of extended family members and friends.
The funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church (3150 Destrehan Ave Harvey, LA 70058). A fellowship luncheon celebrating his life will immediately follow the funeral service at the Church. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the Church’s You Tube Page: Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church - YouTube
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
