Alba M. Serigne

Alba M. Serigne passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 80. Loving mother of Maria Elena Martinez, Mario Danilo Martinez (Nitza), Belkis L. Gonzales (Sam), and Sebastian J. Serigne. Daughter of the late Jose Maria Carias and Obdulia Carias Ramirez. Sister of Marcio Carias, Thaslia Robin, Madeline Carias Olivera and late Danilo Carias and Zulia Carias. Proud grandmother of Marie G. Martinez Luong (Minh), Alexandra G. Martinez, Dina Martinez, Jennifer M. Martinez, and Haleigh N. Martinez. Will be cherished by her great grandchildren Kylie T. Luong and Liam M. Luong. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. Alba was a devoted and hard-working mother who held many careers and jobs in La Ceiba, Honduras and in the New Orleans area. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all whom knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation to be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA 70058 on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 1pm.
