Patsy Johnson Ramagoz

Patsy Johnson Ramagoz entered into eternal rest, Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. Patsy was the beloved, devoted wife of the late Donald William Ramagoz. They were married for 53 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Nola M. and Floyd W. Johnson and sister, Diane Johnson Ponder. She is survived by her siblings: Floyd Johnson, Jr., Betty Johnson Breland, Robert Johnson and beloved daughters Karen Ann Saltalamachia, Thelma "Tammy" Ramagoz Porter, and Rhonda Ramagoz Taylor; sons-in-law Anthony Saltalamachia Sr., Gregory Porter, and Richard Taylor; grandchildren Anthony Saltalamachia, Jr., (Jane), Stacy Saltalamachia Monfra (the late Jamie), Kelly Ann Lyons (Jason), and Thomas Porter; great grandchildren, Anthony Saltalamachia III, Jacob Saltalamachia, Stefani Monfra, Jillian Monfra, and Bryce Lyons. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends – she will always live in our hearts. She enjoyed travel, friends and her club; she was a charter member of the Theta Golden Age Club of Jefferson Parish. Patsy was a longtime employee of South Central Bell which she left to spend time to raising her children. Later, she was employed by the Jefferson Parish school system for a number of years. Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
