Willie J. Farve, Jr.

Willie Joseph Farve Jr. passed away peacefully on October 2, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Ellen Ann Breaux Farve. Father of Donna Mataya (Chuck Sr.) and Danny Farve (Darla). Grandfather of Chuck Mataya Jr., Kayla Farve and April Kihnemann. Great-grandfather of Devin Kihnemann and Brylee Andre. Brother of Roy Farve, Thomas Farve, the late Jessie and Robert Farve. Son of the late Willie Farve Sr. and Edna Thibodeaux Farve. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Willie served his country in the U.S. Navy and later retired as Shop Foreman for Avondale Harvey Quick Repair, now known as Bollinger Quick Repair. In his younger days, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, fishing and hunting at his camp in Bayou Segnette called “Miller Time”. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park.
