Wilbert Joseph LeBlanc, entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 59 years to Alice Faye Schexnayder LeBlanc. Father of Cindy LeBlanc Rouchon (Andre). Grandfather of Ericka Rush Poole (Tyler), Brittany Rush Peralta (Reese) and Camden Joseph Trosclair. Great Grandfather of Cullen Sterling Poole, Ezra Reese Peralta and Brennan Maddox Poole. Son of the late Nicholas LeBlanc and Rita Gauthreaux LeBlanc. Brother of Helena LeBlanc and the late Sterling LeBlanc, Henry LeBlanc, Willie LeBlanc, Richard LeBlanc, Ovil LeBlanc, Nick LeBlanc, Helen LeBlanc, Eula L. Foret, Olympe L. King, Rita L. Dupre, Marie L. Ott, Elsie L. Hebert and Margaret LeBlanc. Affectionately known to many, especially his nieces and nephews as “Uncle Flip”. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego, LA and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3091 for 60 years. He was Grand Knight for 3 terms.
