But there’s a reason for it all, beyond our power to see.” Vanessa M. Davis entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was native of Marrero, La and a resident of Marrero all of her life. Beloved wife of the late Charles Davis Jr. Devoted mother of Amanda Davis and Zachary Davis. Vanessa was born, to the union of Joseph E. Hadley and the late Ellen V. Hadley. Sisters of Carolyn Cook and Darene Reed. She was preceded in death by her; husband, mother, and grandparents. Also, survived by host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives as well as friends. Relatives and friends of the family, and employees of Westbank Headstart; UPS, Lowes, Delgado Community College and employees’ of West Jefferson Medical Center’s 5th floor and CCU are invited to attend the funeral services at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. on Saturday, November 11, 2017. at 11am. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am. Interment, Restlawn Park Cemetery. Vanessa retired from Westbank Headstart last year unpredicted but, she always smiled. She continued to enjoy listening to music from various artist like Fred Hamilton and type of jazz known to man. She also enjoyed decorating and designing which was her dream in life.
