Ronald V. Johnson

Ronald V. Johnson passed away peacefully on January 24, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Paula Squarsich Johnson. Father of Lisa Johnson Robichaux (Ronald) and Kelly Johnson-Holder (Christopher). Grandfather of Kristina, Logan, Dion and Carleaˊ. Brother of Ray Johnson (Linda) and Ralph Johnson. Son of Rita Treadway Johnson and the late Raymond Johnson. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ronald worked as a lineman with LP & L and as an electrician with Blue Streak Marine, Brown & Root, Global Industries, Daybrook Fisheries and in his “retirement”, owned and operated Southern Electric. He was a talented woodworker, crafting everything from clocks to kitchen cabinets. A kind and generous man, he never met a stranger and was quick to help those in need. While his passing is sorrowful, his life and legacy will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8968 Highway 23 in Belle Chasse on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11 AM. Visitation will take place at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday from 5 PM until Wednesday at 10:30 AM.
