Robin Buras Whalen

Robin Buras Whalen, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the age of 55. She is preceded in death by her loving father, Edward L. Buras Jr; siblings, Edward L. Buras III, Leon A. Buras and Torey Jayne Buras; father and mother- in -law, Mr and Mrs. Edward P. Whalen; brothers- in-law, Edward P. Whalen Jr and Michael K. Whalen; step-father, Donald Gautreaux Sr. She is the beloved wife of Timothy J. Whalen. She is the loving mother of Ramsden Griffin and Leon J. Bertucci. She is the loving step-mother of Christopher J. Whalen. She is devoted grandmother of numerous grandchildren. She is beloved daughter of Betty B. Gautreaux. She is loving sister of Naomi B. Autin, Duane M. Buras, Shawn P. Buras, Paul C. Buras. She is loving step- sister of Natalie Buras, Don Lee Gautreaux, Dale Gautreaux and Donald Gautreaux Jr. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Terry J. Whalen and sister-in-law, Susan Farley, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, September 29, 2017 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA.
