Robert E. Jones

Robert E. Jones peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Marie Dees Jones. Son of the late Aaron Pittman Jones and Blanche Stokes Jones. Father of Freda Karen LeBlanc (Dean), Robert Errol Jones (Beth) and Richard Alan Jones. Grandfather of Felina Marie LeBlanc, Angie Hendrix (Don), Robbie Jones, Chance Jones (Kathryn), Makenzie Tindall (Charlie), Makayla Sanders (Alex) and the late Shane Martin LeBlanc. Great Grandfather of Brylee, Ava, Bella, Loran, Ethan, Kyis, Mateo and Kayden. Brother of Franklin Jones and preceded in death by 8 other siblings. Robert was born in Arkansas and was a resident of Marrero, LA. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean War. Robert was a member of the Shriners and was a Mason with the Masonic Lodge of McClahan Lodge in Bossier City. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 11AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
