Perry Lee Becnel Jr

Perry Lee Becnel, Jr., a lifetime resident of Plaquemines Parish, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the age of 31. Beloved husband of Tasha Caruthers Becnel. Loving father of Kami and Khloe Becnel. Son of Terry Bottoms Becnel and Perry L. Becnel, Sr. Grandson of Jane Falgout and Lea Todaro. Brother of Kelly Cagle (Thomas), Michael Becnel (Mary) and Alexander Becnel. Son-in-law of Helen Sevin Jackson and Carrol Jackson. Also survived by a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, family and friends. Mr. Becnel attended Belle Chasse High School and was employed as a boat captain and engineer with Bisso Towing. He loved LSU and the Saints and was their greatest fan. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends who he always was able to bring together.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will follow at St. Andrew Church, 3101 Eton St., Algiers LA at 11 AM. Interment, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA. In lieu of flowers, Mass Intentions in his memory may be made at St. Andrew Church, 3101 Eton St. Algiers, LA.
