Patsy Orgeron Folse

Patsy Orgeron Folse passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Picou, Sr. by first marriage and the late Camille "Butch" Folse, Jr. by second marriage. Daughter of the late Antoine Orgeron and Eunice Dufrene Orgeron. Sister of Grace Murray (Herbert), Merrill Orgeron, Sr. (Moddie), Sherrill Orgeron, Sr. (Toby), and the late Malcolm Orgeron, Sr. (Tillie). Mother of Thomas Picou (Soraya), Rodney Folse (Susan), Kenneth Picou, Michelle Folse, Bryant Folse (Gaynell), Lorie Bernard (David), Rene Folse (Lacy), Tony Picou, and the late Curt Picou, Sr. (Terri), Ramona Folse, Darlene Picou, and Marvin Picou (Lydia). Grandmother of 23 and Great-grandmother of 42. Age 75 years, a native of Matthews, LA and resident of Hahnville, LA. Patsy was a professional mother and grandmother, the matriarch and of her family. She was a spunky little woman, but if her height matched the size of her heart she would have been a giant. Her selfless, loving, and care-giving nature made her a "Maw Maw" to all who knew her and the glue that kept everyone close. We will lovingly remember and deeply miss our angel.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 11 AM until 1:30 PM.
