Oscar Charles Curry

March 11, 1935 — January 21, 2015

Oscar Charles Curry Jr. passed away on January 21, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Judith Tanner Curry by second marriage and the late Patricia Wattigney Curry by first marriage. Father of Michael R. Curry and the late Brion E. Curry. Son of the late Oscar Charles Curry Sr. and Camille Fischer Curry. Brother-in-law of Charles Tanner and Marcia Tanner. Also survived by his dear friends, Peter Menkiewicz, Pedro and Debbie Rubio along with 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Oscar served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He then worked for many years with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Border Patrol, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs and retired from the Drug Enforcement Administration. He was very patriotic, loved his Country and dedicated his life to the safety and welfare of others. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
