Myra Bellanger LaChute passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the age of 47. Beloved wife of Victor S. LaChute. Mother of Justin Fortmayer (Kelly) and Jacob LaChute. Daughter of Eugenie "Jeannie" and Richard Bellanger. Daughter-in-law of Dlorah and Victor LaChute. Sister of Ricky Bellanger (Christina). Aunt of Celina Bellanger and Jonathan Achary (Bellanger). Grandmother of Jade Fortmayer. Godchild of Alice Alleman. Also survived by nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. She loved to ride horses, rollerskate, crafts, do hair and make-up and she loved to dance. She was a graduate of Archbishop Blenk and attended UNO for accounting. She was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marrero, LA. at 11am. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 6pm until 10pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA and again at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 9am until 11am.
