Misael "Joe" Barbier, Jr.

Misael “Joe” Barbier, Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved son of the late Misael Joseph Barbier, Sr. and Adeline Marie Kinler Barbier. Loving brother of Cheryl Waits (Joe), Vernon Barbier (Sharon) and the late Janice “Sue” Hidalgo. Uncle of Joe Jr., Natalie, Angela, Kristie, Valerie, Andrew, Michelle, Margo and Monica. Joe is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA. Joe served his country while enlisted in the United States Army. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
