Melrose Michel Bauman

Melrose Michel Bauman, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the age of 71 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam J. Bauman; her parents, John Leopold Michel Sr. and Helen Copping Michel; her siblings, John Leopold Michel Jr. and Janet Michel. She is the beloved mother of Samantha Bauman Dreux. She is the devoted grandmother of Dustin Charles Dreux Jr., Shelby Joy Dreux, and Dawson Christian Dreux. She is the loving sister of Louis A. Michel Sr. (Margaret Conway), Ronald C. Michel (Mary), and Cyril L. Michel (Joyce Moore). She is also survived by her Godchild, Edna Bolotte; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Melrose was a friendly and talkative lady who enjoyed country music and country line dancing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, April 27, 2018 beginning at 11:00AM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
