Melissa Everage Rogers passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the age of 43. Beloved wife of J.R. Rogers. Step-mother of Jordan Rogers. Daughter of Marilyn Everage and Lonnie Everage. Sister of Monica Tullier (Jason). Godmother of Jaden Folse. Aunt of Destiny and Josh Tullier. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and also survived by her beloved canine baby boy, Spencer. She was a pediatric oncology nurse at Children's Hospital. She loved to play softball and roller skate when she was young. She loved to watch basketball and was an avid Pelicans fan. She was formerly a resident of Westwego, LA and was currently a resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10am, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 622 Avenue A at 5th Street, Westwego, LA.
