Mary Catherine Guillot Plaisance peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the age of 74. Wife of the late John Daniel Mars, Jr. by first marriage and the late Benny John Plaisance by second marriage. Daughter of the late John Guillot and Mary Nethaux Guillot. Mother of Steven Michael Mars, Anne Mars Long, David Allen James and the late John Michael Mars, III and Karen Anne Mars. Grandmother of Lindsay Ruiz Duffy and Lacey Ruiz Hooper. Great Grandmother of Marleigh Hooper, Robert Hooper, Jr. Liam Duffy and Kinsley Duffy. Sister of Carolyn Guillot and the late John Guillot and Catherine Guillot Faye. Sister-in-law of Linda Ryan and Betty Guillot Martin. Aunt of Monette Ryan, Darlene Guillot and Coleen Fay Knight. Grand Daughter of the late Katie Hague. Mary attended Holy Name of Mary High School in Algiers and was a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church also in Algiers. Mary was loved by many and will be missed dearly by family and friends. Funeral Services were privately held. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME was in charge of arrangements.
