Marian J. “Dolly” Naquin peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 15, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Dennis R. Naquin Sr. Loving mother of Thomas Naquin, S. Marie Naquin, Linda Naquin (Alison), Dennis Naquin Jr., Dorothy Gros (E.J.), Steven Naquin (Gail), Kim Ranson and Susan Brindisi (Frank). Daughter of the late Benjamin Orville Hardin and Guadalupe Salazar Hardin. Sister of the late George Cota Sr., Julia Cota and Emma Young. Preceded in death by her granddaughter Nicole N. Curow and daughter-in-law Jerelyn “Pixie” Naquin. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Dolly was a devout Catholic and parishioner of the former St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church. She was a member of the Third Order of Mary and Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Ladies Altar Society, Prayer Warriors of St. Joan of Arc and was active with the St. Julian Eymard Catholic Youth Organization.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Serenity Hospice for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street in Marrero on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 9 AM to 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
