Margaret Gaspard Dubois

Margaret Gaspard Dubois peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of the late Russell J. Dubois. Daughter of the late Eusebe D. Gaspard and Thelma Chiasson Gaspard. Loving mother of Brent Dubois (Carrie) and Rochelle Babin (Dywane, Sr.). Loving grandmother of Dylan Rudisaile (Masey), Devin Rudisaile (Alexis), Layne Dubois, William “Tyler” Galloway, Krysta Kunath, Dywane Babin, Jr. and Logan Babin. Beloved great grandmother of Madilyn, Micah, Damien, Aria and Salem. Beloved sister of Melton Gaspard, Runnell Gaspard, Garland Gaspard, Jennifer Majewski and Monique Schmidt. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Margaret was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Gretna, LA. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Heart of Hospice and Servants of Mary for their love and care given to Margaret during her illness. Margaret enjoyed many activities with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting attendees to bring with them an unopened toy to the funeral home, which will be given to Children’s Hospital in honor of Margaret. Family and friends are invited to attend the gathering at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 2PM until 6PM.
