Lurline Hymel Pitre

Lurline Hymel Pitre passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Willie J. Hymel and Clelie O. Hymel. She is survived by her children, Sheila P. Hill and husband Michael, Nathan F. Pitre and wife Tam, Lowell J. Pitre and wife Sheri. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark M. Pitre, her son, Aaron M. Pitre and daughter-in-law, Karen S. Pitre. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Derin Pitre and wife Dana, Chantelle Floyd and husband Jeremy, Heather Turner and husband Tim, Daniel Hill and wife Jenny, Michelle Richardson and husband Thomas, Ryan Hill and wife Aimee, Mark Pitre, Christine H. Hindelang and husband Warren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was a native of Vacherie, LA, a longtime resident of Westwego, LA and graduated from St. James High School.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
