Lloyd Lawrence Lagrange

Lloyd L. LaGrange (Mouse) entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the age of 88. Lloyd was born on June 6, 1929 to the late Oliver and Odile Junot LaGrange. He was a graduate of Gretna High School class of 1946. He served his country in the Louisiana Army National Guard during the Korean War and retired from the Louisiana Property Insurance Association. He so enjoyed his Cajun dance group, Les Danseurs Cadjin, and playing his harmonica. In the 1950's he sang at the Parisian Room with Tony Almerico and his Parisian Room Band. He is preceded in death by his three siblings, Lester A. LaGrange, Joyce LaGrange Thiebaud and Carolyn A. LaGrange and his daughter Janet LaGrange Gray. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Elaine Pontiff LaGrange, his son Lloyd Michael LaGrange and daughter Denise LaGrange Guerineau. He is also survived by his grandchildren Theodore (Trey) Bethea, Gabrielle Bethea, and Cassidy Gray. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2555 Apollo Avenue, Harvey, La 70058, on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 10:30am. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 8:45am until 10:30am. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery South, 1601 Belle Chasse Hwy, Gretna, La.
