Lillian Bacas Hebert

Lillian Bacas Hebert passed away on September 12, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald J. Hebert Sr. Mother of Gerald Hebert Jr. (Linda), Viola Dickson (Doug) and Darryl Hebert (Marcy). Daughter of the late Ethel Moore Bacas and Clarence Bacas Sr. Sister of Clarence “Buddy” Bacas, the late Bernadette “Bernie” Despeaux and Rita Tarter. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Lillian retired from the Plaquemines Parish School Board as a bus driver and was a member of the Port Sulphur Vol. Fire Department Auxiliary and a devout member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 Highway 23 in Port Sulphur on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 10 AM to 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment St. Patrick Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
