Leoncio E. Rodriguez

Leoncio E. Rodriguez, a great and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Ana Dolores Lopez de Rodriguez for 17 years. Son of the late Manuel de Jesus Rodriguez and Albertina Aponte. Father of Rafael, Lidia, Luis, Ysidoro, Hilda, Juan and Thelma. Leoncio is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Leoncio was born in Tamboril, Dominican Republic and was a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 15 years. He loved his family and was an avid Domino player. Leoncio was a very happy man and a very loved and respected man. All who knew him will miss him dearly. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 9:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
