Laura Lee Bailey

Laura Lee Bailey passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Mason J. Bailey, Sr. Mother of Mason J. Bailey, Jr. (Shelley), Wendel J. Bailey, (Diane), and Frank M. Bailey (Debra). Daughter of the late Eddie and Marie Plaisance. Sister of Roy Plaisance and the late Elsie Lynch, Evelyn Jenkins, Marcella Blanchard, Melvin, Eddie, Eloi and Calvin Plaisance. Grandmother of Craig Bailey (Nina), Chris Bailey, Michael Jones (Melissa), Geoffrey Bailey and Nicole Barsavage. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Algiers, LA. and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. She was a former employee of the Jefferson Parish School Board. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11am. Interment, Hook and Ladder Cemetery. Parlors will be open for visitation on Friday evening, October 24, 2014 from 6-10pm and on Saturday morning from 9am-11am.
