Kitty Leonard Guidry

Kitty Leonard Guidry passed away on January 2, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Louis B. Guidry and James Leonard. Daughter of the late Jan Schukalla and Klara Panek Schukalla. Mother of Constance Leonard McNeil (Robert) and Kerry Leonard (Myriam) and stepmother of Glenn Guidry. Grandmother of Kelly M. Jones (Trip) and step-grandmother of Edwin Franco and Mayra Romero (Gabriel). Step-great-grandmother of Alyssa and Viviana Romero. Age 89 years, a native of Poland and resident of Marrero, LA. Kitty fled from Poland from the Nazis at age 16 to Germany where she lived for 10 years until leaving for the United States to marry James Leonard. She worked for 28 years as a waitress at the Log Cabin restaurant in Marrero, LA. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12 Noon.
