Karlene "Kay" Dietz Delaune

Karlene “Kay” Dietz Delaune peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Roy Laney, Sr. by first marriage and the late Roy Delaune by second marriage. Daughter of the late Karl Dietz, Sr. and Alice Ames Dietz. Loving mother of Christi Laney Pagan (Alex). Devoted and loving grandmother of Alexander Jose Pagan and Jacob Daniel Pagan whom she adored. Sister of Cheryl Dietz Ranna, Fred Dietz and the late Karl Dietz, Jr. and Judy Dietz. Kay was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA. She was a member of the Harvey and Marrero Golden Agers, she was a devout Christian Woman whom loved to line dance. Kay will be missed by all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 10:30AM until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30PM. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
