Justin Brian Amos, 41, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 after a two year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends. A lifelong resident of lower Plaquemines Parish, Justin was born on October 10, 1976. A 1995 graduate of Buras High School, Justin worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. He was a dedicated employee of Phillips 66 Alliance Refinery for the past 10 years. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth A. Watson (Ralph), and his father Brian P. Amos (Debbie), his wife Michelle Scarabin Amos, his sister Calleigh Amos, nephews Jayden and Carter and niece Brileigh, his in-laws Michael and Anna Scarabin, sister-in-law Monica Scarabin Lopez, his step-brother Elliott Mistich Jr. (Betty), step-sister Jamie Bergeron (Blaine), his maternal grandmother Dorothy Watson, paternal grandfather Ernest Amos III (Rema), his aunts Nelva Ann Sarria, Rose Roussell, Cecile Miller and uncle John A. Watson and countless dear friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William J. Watson, his paternal grandparents, Wallace and Velma Gallet and uncles Clements J. Amos and Jeffery P. Gallet. Those who knew Justin will remember his contagious smile, easy-going and fun-loving personality, his loyalty and devotion to his family and friends, and his love for fishing, hunting and football.
